I am now going to be teaching......

2nd Grade!!!

I am SO happy with my decision to accept the position. It was meant to be. The principal for the K position never called me back..oh well.

If she did, I don't think I would have taken it anyways. Kindergarten is not what I like teaching.

I have taught 2nd before, about 6 years ago and loved it.

I follow many 2nd grade blogs already and can't wait to start looking at the curriculum and making things! I just really need to focus on getting this house packed right now! HAHA...it's kinda hard!

I promise to still work on 3rd grade material because I feel like I have a good 3-4 following!

So, we arrive in Hawaii July 4th
I have two teacher trainings on July 17th and 18th
Teacher Work Days start July 30th
Kids come August 5th

I don't have much of a summer...do I?

  1. Congratulations! I'm so excited for you! You must be so relieved to at least know what you'll be doing once you arrive. You have been such a great resource for me this year, and I'm so happy that you'll continue making third grade stuff. I'll definitely pass your blog over to my second-grade colleague ... she'll love you, too!

    Happy packing and congrats again!
